is a Mickey Mantle, Rodger
Maris, Budweiser counter top
Advertising sign. This sign was one of 4 Budweiser
Advertising campaign "Part of a proud City's
Tradition". I am listing this as 1980s, but I seem
to remember being told that the signs came out just after the
1978 WS, and before the Great Thurman Munson's passing.
They were made for for display as counter top ads but, I do not think
many of them lasted long. Collectors quickly grabbed
them. The signs were a popular Item in the souvenir
shops across the street from Yankee Stadium, in the 80s
and 90s.
