opening day April 5, 2002, "Yankee Station"
Stamp cancellation. This neat collectible was
issued by the Post office, in 2002, at the price of
$19.99. It has a great Photo Of Mickey Mantle, and Roger
Maris with the old Yankee Stadium facade in the
background from the Cooperstown collection, and the
Yankee Stadium Stamped Cachet, which Features 1923 Yankee
Stadium "Home of the New York Yankees", with
Babe Ruth, and Lou Gehrig, and The Hard to find USPS
Issued Yankee Stadium First Class Stamp! the
announcement of a New Yankee Stadium being ready in 2009
