The 1975 World Series Champions
Cincinnati Reds; and the '76 Reds at
Riverfront Stadium Schedule, restaurant
paper placemats were produced by
Malanco East, Inc., of Vineland NJ.
Both depict portraits by noted sports
artist Charles Lennett. The nine
portraits of the "Big Red Machine" on
each placemats feature: George Foster,
Cesar Geronimo, Ken Griffey, Tony
Perez, Joe Morgan Dave Conception, Pete
Rose, Don Gullett, and Johnny Bench.
The World Series Champions placemat pictured above, features a Major
League Baseball Association logo, a
World Series Box Score, and above that
reads:
"The 1975 baseball World Series between the Cincinnati Reds and the
Boston Red Sox will go down in history
as one of the most exciting ever
played. During twelve long days, with
three idled by heavy Boston rains, the
players went through tremendous
physical and psychological strain. The
climax came in the sixth game when the
Red Sox bounced back, from behind, and
won with a Carlton Fisk home run in the
12th inning. The dramatic victory came
on Joe Morgan's single, driving in the
winning run and crowning the Cincinnati
Reds World Series Champions."
The "Cincinnati Reds 1975 World Series Champions" paper placemat below
features The Reds home game schedule.
