Mickey
Mantle Hartland Statue. these statues came out in the
late 50's and early 60's, and were sold in store such as
Woolworths. Hartland was known for making Plastic
western toys, such as horses, and cowboys. They then
released 18 plastic baseball player figurines, that sold
for $1.98.(see booklet pictured below center) This collection of 18 baseball players,
including Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Stan "The
Man" Musial, Yogi Berra, and other Hall of Famer's
remains the cornerstone of sports figurine collecting as
we know it today. With the original box the figurine can
double, or triple in price. (Below left Picture) the Original
box first issued in 1958, which is harder to find. The
more common box pictured on the right (Yogi Berra Box) Common flaws in condition are missing
Bat, Yellowing, and paint chipping.
