Mantle Genuine K55 Baseball Bat. The
most sought after bats are manufactured by Louisville
Slugger now a division of privately held Hillerich
& Bradsby in Louisville, Ky. which made
professional-model bats to be used exclusively by
individual players. Mickey Mantle used Models M110, K55, and P72.
This Store Model 125, Signature Contract, K55 is
one of the more favored by collectors. The earlier
H&B professional K55 Bats had K55 written on the knob.
Louisville Sluggers started putting model numbers on the
end of the knob in 1943. Louisville Slugger didn't document
when they made certain labels. Hillerich
& Bradsby began
